Build a freestanding solid wood wine rack for your home or as a unique handmade gift. During this 3-hour intensive, students will learn the properties and techniques of using a table saw, jointer, planer, drill press, orbital sander, and biscuit joiner, along with finishing techniques for solid wood.
No wine rack is complete without wine! So as a bonus, participants can take home a complimentary bottle of wine courtesy of our friends and neighbors at Bondi Wines & Spirits.
This workshop makes a memorable date night for any crafty couple! Solo gift makers will delight in this unique opportunity to make their favorite wine lovers a special handmade gift. And while this may be the season of giving, there’s nothing wrong with taking a little time out to work with your hands and make something beautiful just for you.
Instructors
Angie Yang, Owner/Founder/Educator
Angie Yang founded Bien Hecho Academy in 2014 with her husband, John Randall, to share their common love and appreciation of woodworking with the community. After spending almost a decade growing the Academy, Angie is transitioning the company into a Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise.
Liz Dahmen, Artist/Designer/Educator
Liz Dahmen is a Brooklyn and Hudson Valley based artist who has over 15 years of design and teaching experience. She owns Make Space LLC, a boutique design/build company and she also works extensively as an arts educator. After completing her BFA in theater at the Tisch School of the Arts she went on to get a Master's in Education at the Steinhardt School of Education. When not designing and making things for homes and businesses she can be found directing and teaching at the Hudson Valley Performing Arts Laboratory.

Refund Policy
Covid-19 Refund Policy (still in effect updated 12/2023): ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If for some reason we need to postpone your purchased workshop before class takes place, we will gladly hold your space or offer a full amount voucher which can be redeemable at anytime. If there is a shutdown (city, pandemic etc…) after your class has started, we will resume and pick up from where we left off once it is safe for all of us to be back in the shop. GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
Pre-Covid Policy: All refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee. Refunds for classes are only offered up to 7 days before your class begins. Alternatively, you can receive a 100% refund in Bien Hecho Academy store credit, which can be applied to a future class. No refunds will be offered for class withdrawals less than 7 days before your class begins. GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
